Licensure/Certification:

​

• Must be a Canadian registered nurse in good standing with current licensing body

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia College of Nurses &  Midwives (nurses licensed to practice nursing in other Canadian jurisdictions must be eligible for licensure in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or British Columbia)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification may be required depending on job site.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to assess and anticipate potential problems and develop and implement solutions

• Significant experience with total patient care planning

• Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients.

• Ability to perform independently and as a member of the healthcare team.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.

• Ability to function in a demanding and stressful environment.

• Ability to work within established standards or policies, protocols and procedures of Elite Intellicare Staffing Ltd. and the various Regional Health Authority (RHA) of Manitoba, Saskatchewan or British Columbia.
